Monolight Kit
I bought the kit monolight impact and do not know how to use it (which is w / instructions) Anybody can help?
I have never taken professional photos, and I have no idea how to use these lights. I have to know first how to make them work and some information about what are best practices for maximum advantage of them. Thanks!
First you need a way to connect to your camera. They should come with sync cables. You will probably need an adapter to fit in the camera grip with a sheet over it for cables.Plug sync cable into the adapter and the other in one of the lights. Light others be a slave, which means that the flash of the other is going to explode. The type of configuration is to have two light picture light with the subject. The other is the opposite. You must have a control power of each lamp. It can be digital, or you can have a slider switch or turn button. The light on the side should be set at approximately twice the power to the headlight. Set your camera shutter of the camera 1 / 125 second. Set the aperture to F8. It is a good starting point. You will be able to shoot in manual mode. The camera know the fires are related to what you can not adjust the exposure for you. If the photo is over or underexposed, change the Power Settings F or stop accordingly. Can not change the exposure by changing the shutter speed, because the lights are faster than the shutter. Goggle lighting some tutorials and play with them.

Monolight - Free Music $16.98 Monolight: Rune Kristoffersen.Free Music is Rune Kristoffersen`s second solo album under the project name Monolight. The once-Fra Lippo Lippi member and now owner of the Norwegian avant-garde label Rune Grammofon delivers a CD of sparse, spontaneous electronic compositions that stand much closer to the contemporary experimental techno school of David Kristian, CoH, labelmates Alog and Spunk, or the Bip-Hop label roster (Cray, si-cut.dB, Bovine Life) than the electro-pop sounds of his former band. Performed on digital and analog keyboards with effects, the ten tracks on Free Music were improvised following a hit-or-miss philosophy: hit, the track is saved for inclusion; miss, it is trashed. Kristoffersen allowed no possibility for overdubbing or salvaging in any form an unsatisfactory piece. The result is a highly cohesive album of well-defined pieces, but the sense of immediacy one would expect from such a work method is surprisingly absent. The sound palette remains very narrow and some pieces feel surprisingly dated ("Duo Abstractions 5," for instance). But the CD also has its rewarding moments, like the introspective "Still Light," quite powerful, and "Four Invisibles." Whenever things get more melodic ("Stranded in Narrow Air"), they stay intelligent and uncompromising.
