Whenever I import videos from my new Sony Digital Handycam into Adobe Premiere Pro, there's no audio??

Theres only video. The videos are in .mpg format.

for a pc, try to import onto wmp to make it a wmv. then try to open the file on your adobe (use "ctrl+o" after adobe lanches). i belive that will work.

for my mac i never have that problem. but im 14, what do i know?
